Low Emissivity Glass
Low-e glass produced through online production methods has a durable coating layer, which can be used as a single piece and can be stored for a long time. But its thermal properties are not very well and its product categories are relatively simple.
Low-e glass produced by offline methods has better thermal insulation performance and comes in various colors, but its film layer has poor firmness and will be corroded by moisture and oxides when exposed to the air for a long time. Therefore, we'd better make it into insulating glass and use it within a few months.
Low-E glass is an ideal material for insulated glass, which can offer excellent thermal insulation properties. In summer, it can prevent excessive external heat from entering the room. In winter, it stops heat loss from the house. This significantly reduces the energy consumption of the heating or air-conditioning system.
Highly transparent low-e glass has good visible light transmittance, which can provide building occupants with more comfortable natural light while reducing heat radiation.
The size and thickness refer to the specification of float glass sheet.
When used as insulating glass unit, it can be made into double or triple glazing. Cutting to size, lamination and glass tempering are available.
